In Q2 2024, the top 5 music and podcasts apps on Android in Mexico showcased various trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts demonstrated robust performance in both downloads and revenue. Downloads peaked at 285K during the week of May 20 and fluctuated between 190K and 263K throughout the quarter. Revenue also saw an upward trend, peaking at approximately $80K in late April and maintaining values between $63K and $74K in most weeks. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 20M.

TREBEL: Music, MP3 & Podcasts had consistent download numbers, ranging from 93K to 113K, with a slight dip in late May. Revenue peaked at around $391 in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 4.4M in early April and reaching 4.7M by mid-May, before stabilizing around 4.5M towards the quarter's end.

Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts experienced a notable increase in downloads, rising from 45K in early April to a peak of 76K in the final week of June.
